David "Dave" Polimeros

Dave enjoys being a financial advisor because of the wide variety of successful people he gets to have meaningful relationships with as he helps them pursue some of their most important life goals.  It also allows him to exercise his expertise with numbers and finance, which is fun for him as helps manage complex problems for clients.

Dave joined Financial ServiCenter in 2015, having been brought back into the industry by his stepfather Erv Christen in 2012.  Erv, who grew up on farm, and was an avid gardener, later told Dave, “…it was like finding diamonds in the garden when you called to see if I was still interested in having you take over my business…”.

Prior to 2012, Dave spent time as a management consultant with Ernst & Young’s Performance Improvement business & IBM Global Services.  He left IBM in late 2001 to help the owner of a 12–person nursing home consulting firm improve his business. Six years later, they had grown the company into a 4,000 – employee health care services firm.

Dave earned his B.S./B.A. degree with a double major in Finance & International Business from Bowling Green State University, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Case Western Reserve University.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Dave moved to Chicago in the mid – 90’s and it has become his home.  Dave, his wife Jess and son Chase, and their two cats, Olivia & Sova, live in Darien, IL.  They continue to be members of the Moody Church in Chicago and are in the process of becoming members of Christ Church - Oakbrook.  During the summer months they also spend time with family in Grand Rapids, MI participating in boating, cookouts, and water activities on the beautiful lakes.
